I love personification and here is one on the relationship between torch(AA battery) and me. Jeez, it is intense, don’t you think?
Catharsis II
The daily news of people who took their lives purported to be depressed is distressing.A young data scientist jumped off a building close to my office, a middle aged man shot himself today leaving a note that his family be taken of a wife killed her young son and committed suicide, a TV personality hung himself… In today’s apparently well connected world, there is more loneliness, in an supposedly era of economic growth and prosperity, there is…
Catharsis
What can one do when life becomes dark, heavy, sombre? Write. Yes, writing is cathartic.[Catharsis (κάθαρσις)= “purification” or “cleansing”]Run. Yes, running is cathartic.Cycle. Yes, cycling is cathartic.Do something. Yes, doing anything intently releases you.
happy kid(Anchetty-3)
Post the mid way mark of Anchetty 200km brevet, from Denkanikottai to Attibele it was strong cross winds, threatening to push me into the centre of the road. Strong enough, but really not that dangerous. Like a happy kid having some fun with troubling someone. Enjoy the third poem on this brevet, my first hat-trick in an event.

Anchetty (Anchetty-1)
Last Saturday was the classic Anchetty 200KM brevet. A beautiful scenic ride with lovely climbs with an elevation gain of ~2000m. Brilliant weather, with cool wind cuddling you showering you with mild wetness and later rushing at you sidewards. Delighted to do this again after five years. A ride time of 9h 55h with nett time of 10h 59m spending at least 25 mins in the Hosur road traffic on the return.

A bunch of limericks on ‘regression testing’ whose objective is to test what was working earlier is still working strung together. Thought software is pliableand did many a code change Making it act really strangeand becoming sadly unreliable Now I very carefully regressAutomating test of every partand doing less by being…

THE LIGHT WITHIN
On Monday a friend of mine was educating us on radiotherapy in cancer treatment especially on challenges of irradiating the right spot in areas that are constantly moving, like lungs, abdomen. This triggered my muse fusing science and philosophy.
