To all the Malnad Trail Ultra participants, enjoy the ‘Date with nature’. All the very best guys. Sadly will miss it, though my heart will here tomorrow.
Awaiting the final blow
A house close by that has been standing for ~40 years , a home it has been for lovely family being torn down to make way a commercial property, I guess. My feelings as a creative “Awaiting the final blow”. Indeed sad to see it go.
Razed
Another building in our neighbourhood bites the dust. Razed in a few days. Are the wonderful memories of all of those years buried safe ? A creative on this as “Razed”.
An evening walk
An ordinary evening walk in the neighbourhood turns extraordinary as you soak in the moment merging with everything around you.
I wish you well
“Black forest cake – a symbol of life. A birthday celebration.
I am stuffed
The spark of creativity, the muse is fascinating. When you are heavy and stuffed, it ignites and interesting things happened only to subside to germinate again!
Bon courage
To all the PBP 2019 folks from India (big continent of 300) starting tomorrow “Bon courage”. Enjoy the ride!
“Ella Aaramaa”
The comment of Rajani Kanth in my last poem (Java, Caava & Cloud) “The last 4 lines is the real reason why the infrastructure collapsed. This city was never ready for so many, and the roads were never ready for their bikes/cars” tickled my muse. “Ella Aaramaa” in Kannada means “All ok?”, typically used as a greeting when we meet someone.
Freedom to me is (Part 3)
Freedom is such an interesting word, more misunderstood that understood. Is it being freed from external shackles like land boundaries, in bondage, poverty, stifled expression ?
Here is my view in “Freedom to be is (Part 3)” triggered by my dear friend Perry’s post in Urban Solace – Cafe for the Soul.
Freedom to me is (Part 2)
The second one on freedom titled “Freedom to be is (Part 2)” was also the result of my dear friend @Perry’s post in his Movie Magic at Urban Solace page.
This one takes a look at freedom a little differently – “an individual unshackled and at peace with oneself”
Another one for you dear Perry Menzies for Tuesdays with the bard at Urban Solace – Cafe for the Soul.
