My good friend took early retirement and moved to a place near a hill station. Every morning as I am busy getting to work, he posts me pictures of his morning jaunts – beautiful streams, lovely forest greenery and majestic mountains. Unable to able do anything, stuck in a gridlock breathing noxious air, I post him pictures of traffic jams, garbage mounds and videos of honking vehicles. Run for Green Energy event on the World Environment day was held at the pristine campus of GKVK with 1000s of trees spewing Oxygen and lovely birds chirping. Yesterday I saw a ‘Bounce’ rental-scooter discarded unmercifully on an un-tarred small side road. I pulled it up, put in on stand and discovered that its silencer was broken. Have seen ‘Yulu’ cycle discarded in ditches, near garbage dump, sometimes with no seat. Dear people of sillycon city, treat this as ‘namma’ items, with love and respect. #sillyconCity (#131)
Why is a cell phone called a mobile phone?Because you talk untethered, right ? Wrong, let me explain.. Because it makes everything mobile – makes taxi/auto come home, starts app-based scooter/cycle to ride, gets any stuff home, be it groceries or a massage. Stuck in typical Monday morning traffic on Old Airport Road, the beautiful canopy of trees near HAL police station were lovely.
