All about silicon city – namma Bengaluru

Cubbon Sundays

Sunday morning at Cubbon Park Bangalore is just wonderful. Young kids wobbling on their new roller blades, happy dogs running around, cheerful runners and cyclists, happy walkers of all ages, fantastic cool weather, and some event or other happening. Just a whole of positivity and cheer.  Possibly the only time & place where the mobile phone is forgotten.  The lovely life in the sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#52)

Change dot org

He was upset about global warming, with the summer season turning out be super hot. He was a modern dude. Sitting in his air-conditioned room, he fired up the computer and opened change dot org on his browser to collect signatures. Just another idiot in the sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#51)

Protection

He valued his gadgets and protected them well – tablet sleeve, laptop bag, mobile case, case for shades, bike cover. For his head, he bought the bright yellow hard top hat. Just another idiot in the sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#50)

Camera

You buy a mobile phone. Then you buy screen protector. Then you buy a case. Then you buy blinking LED lights. You install two SIM cards. Then you use it as a camera. Amazing people of sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#49

Friday dressing

I love the Friday post midnight cycle ride in Indiranagar. That is when you can see the fashion show on the street. After all just the thought of many draughts of Kingfisher does motivate you dress up like their calendar. The high life of sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#35)

Road safety program

The parents went to their child’s school to see her perform in “Road safety program”. After the program they rode back home on the crowded one-way main road in the opposite direction. Just another idiot & partner in the sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#47)

New age pacifier

The parents were traveling to Chennai by Shatabdi and their baby was throwing tantrums. So what did they do ? They put a cartoon video on YouTube and gave the phone to baby. Is it amazing how times have changed? In olden days, when babies cried, we used pacifiers. Now parents have gone high tech. They use mobile phones to pacify. Amazing people of sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#46)
