Boarding the Volvo bus to home, he sat down and plugged the mobile charger into power socket above. Next he filled his ears with in-ear microphones. A whole lot of selfies
At the cantonment station were a bunch of young college kids. The train was delayed by nearly an hour. The girls spent it productively by taking selfies and groupies in cheerful poses and puckered faces with each one’s camera, and exchanged pics with each one. All the boys could do was show ‘yo’ with a variety of contortions. A TB of data must have been created for the AI/ML programs to learn. Just another bunch…
New age apps
He took the Ola to work. A late day at office and tired of navigating the traffic to home, he went to an Oyo. To appease the late night hunger it was Zomato. At peace now, he watched a movie thanks to Jio. Next day it was Practo as he was pretty messed up! Long live the mobile! Just another idiot in the sillycon city. #sillyconCity (#17)
Crossing
Engrossed in a giggly, lovely-dovey conversation on the mobile, she crossed the busy road, in a casual measured mode, looking down deliberately so that motorists cannot do anything, but compelled to stop. Just another idiot in the sillycon city. #sillyconCity (7)

Seeing family members glued to devices in their palms, oblivious to each other ticked me off. Isn’t it crazy that invisible waves travelling through ether connect people far away, but disconnect those next to each other?
