TCS10K

A wonderful day for a run today morning at the TCS10K. And  at the designated time, a sea of people chug outside the stadium. And I am one of them. After jostling and keeping in sight the 50-min bus, I get right in front of the bus at the 3km mark. And a tiny pain surfaces in the knee. Not paying much attention to that, I continue and as I turn at the 4 km mark, the knee says stop. And the knee stops to flex.

Continue to walk hoping it is temporary and after 500m, it becomes more  painful. That is when I spot another person suffering the same problem and walking. We decide to walk the remaining 6km. And boy, it was my longest difficult walk. Back at the stadium, somebody hands me a walkathon event handout and I say NO THANKS!

Well today was not my day, it was ‘The knee’s day out’! But I am delighted that my dear colleagues from STAG Software successfully did their 10K run.
