Dang, this friday night turned to be a couple of whimpers that ended with a bang! Three punctures with the last one ‘a bang’ aborted the Chitradurga ride, all this happening even before I reached Hebbal (15km). Two punctures one after another, and I decided to abort, as I had no spare tubes. Continuous rain all through and this should be the culprit. Thought at the least I should walk the 14+ kms after using the last tube for fixing the third puncture. 8km walk rolling the cycle on rainy ORR.

Lightening lit up the sky and a mini thunder emanated from in my front tyre. Tube blew again the third time, a new PB for me -:) Found an auto after 1km as I did not want to mess up the flat tyre by rolling it for another 7kms. Hope to make up some of the lost distance over the weekend. Not my night I guess! God did want me walk either. The service road on ORR near Manyata park is pathetic, it is a mini lake.
