Malnad Trail Ultra
A demanding trail with 2000m elevation over 80KM was made more interesting with slush due to prior rain. The no-loop trail of 80km under the canopy of trees caressed by coffee shrubs is just wonderful to run on. The slush due to pre-race day rain is something I did not enjoy, as I am yet to get comfortable with slush running. My first experience of slush was with Chennai Trail Marathon (50KM) a few weeks…

The thought of this shift of humans becoming barbarians and machines becoming humans tickled my muse. So, where are we headed? The possible answer is in the last stanza of the poem “Machines & Humans”.

The last few days of rains in Bangalore has proven to be a nightmare for its citizens,. Frustrated to see the slow demise of Bangalore, I personified the ‘sleeping government’ via ‘a politician sleeping peacefully inside ‘on crisp white sheets while the city is battered with a dead body of a young man that floats peacefully outside.
Gauri
Two days ago democracy bled in Bangalore when Gauri an editor/journalist was shot dead. Pen they said was mightier than the sword. Sadly the gun seems mightier than the pen.“Black night it was when doorstep turned red”.
