Here is a poem “heaven sublime”, from my experience in the “Bliss in the Hills brevet” near Kalpetta. The poem happened today, inspired by my nephew Nishanth Iyengar who reached the highest point “Hoosier Pass” at 11539 ft in the TransAm race today (Leh is at 11562 ft, thank you Opendro for the facts). Well, he has been cycling hard over many mountains battling strong winds, whilst I sat down peacefully imagined and penned it as poem.
Good going Nishanth, 1870miles done, close to the half way mark. All the best as you enter the Kansas plains shortly. Enjoy the ride, here is a poem for you! I have liberally used your pics Nishanth.
