Are the various apps that we use on our phones free ? Not really. Here is my creative on this.

It is all free we think
we pay no cash for apps we use
Search for information
Locate places
Connect wth friends
Chat with loved ones
…

None ask for cash
all they want is
your personal details-
who you are
where you live
what you do
and a digital ID

We happily furnish
and go on to use heavily
sharing
thoughts, emotions
wishes, views
likes, dislikes
location, activities
unmindful that I am not paying
in cash or kind
but with all that is in my mind

I stand naked
and they exploit me
mining information
to sell various things

Tis a new age of business
where the route to purse
is so subtle and deep
that only machines can peep
your life for theirs to keep
