The clock
Round I may be, but I really go around
Three needles on my face
Keep me active and running
At a steady pace, never a tired face
One half in light, the other at night
Easy to sight, need to be always right
Tick tock tick tock, periodically
DING DONG DING DONG, sporadically
Small enough to cause an alarm
Loud enough to wake up town
But I mean no harm
Though in response people frown
Even when wound up
No tension on my face
But when I unwind
Relax completely and stop time
Distant maybe, but well connected I am
Via satellites in the sky
All our hands in unison
Showing the same face
I am rich not because of jewels
But I keep time which is money.
