Many miles on Two feet

Five guys decided to enjoy the Indian summer by running from Bangalore to Karwar, the Deccan 300 miler run. Sushil ji  Balakrishnan Sadasivam and Babu George  and Rajendra Jaiswal were targeting 300 miles, while Gjm Reddy planned a 200 miler. All of them did it except RJ who had to call it off midway. Bangalore Mountain Festival

A morning at Jarakhabande

Post the night of volunteering at Jarakhabande Eco Ultra, the forest beckoned me to to do a single loop next morning. Having done the 100km last year, I have enjoyed the sweet not-too-long, not-so-short loop of mixed terrain with a mild climb of ~500m over the 6.4 km stretch.
