Inspired by my friend Ajit’s post on FB of  a video of ants walking.

New year morning walk, a day so fine
I see ants walking in a line
Happy New year I say
All of seem to nod in unison
As if saying “Greetings of the season”

Found later that it is not the reason
To them it is just another circle around the sun
They go about doing the work with fun

Then it dawns on me:
Unmindful of revolution
Emptying every step
Mindless evolution.

Carrying tiny mounds of food
Heavier than themselves
Does not seem a burden
Is it because they are light inside
Is this why I see the shiny glow outside
They seem to be a perfect flow.
