In the world of superficiality, a genuine smile touches the heart and lightens the soul. Many years ago my long flight from US to Dubai on Emirates turned out be wonderful as the young male attendant in my section had a lovely genuine smile and served us joyfully. Yesterday I saw a ‘Bounce’ rental-scooter discarded unmercifully on an un-tarred small side road. I pulled it up, put in on stand and discovered that its silencer was broken. Stuck in typical Monday morning traffic on Old Airport Road, the beautiful canopy of trees near HAL police station were lovely. A young Doberman walked by his master had his both ears fully plastered. When I asked as to what the issue was he said “He is a show dog, to ensure he can win the dog shows, surgery has been done to keep his ears perked up”.
